SATURDAY, FEB. 20 It rained for a few hours this morning, and because of the loss of track time, NHRA officials have ruled only one pro session today to set the field. In the final qualifying run, the Copart/Lucas Oil team improves to a 3.863/312.13. Brandon will face David Grubnic in round one of eliminations tomorrow. FRIDAY, FEB. 19 ROUND TWO QUALIFYING The Copart/Lucas Oil team steps up to a 3.904/312.57 and is the No. 8 qualifier at the end of the day. ROUND ONE QUALIFYING Brandon loses traction early in the run and coasts across the finish line with a 7.100/91.35. He is 10th after the first session.
